Andrea is looking for this one! Hrmmm… I feel like I’ve read this one back in my early indie days. But back then, I read SOOOOO many rock star romances that they are all intermingling in my head now.
The one that I’m thinking of is Mal from Kylie Scott’s Stage Dive series. That was my FAVORITE book in the series. P.S. Here’s my 5-STAR review of that one. 😊
Too many years have passed… so I really don’t know, 😂 but maybe someone knows this one specifically.
She asks:
Hi,
I’m hoping you can help me please….
I read a rock star love story but can’t find it or remember the name.
A girl worked in a bar and a local guy (who ultimately became a famous drummer) was a regular she gave a hard time to. He went off, became famous and came back to town to hide through traumatic period.
They connected and then he lead to leave again. She didn’t think relationship would work but he loved her. So, he knew she loved Bryan Adams’ music and at the end of the story he had show in home town, made sure she got tickets hoping she would come. He arranged guest on stage (Bryan) to sing for her.
Please please please know this book lol!
I really want to read it again.
Anyone have a guess?
Here’s my guess (but I’m very likely wrong):
ROCK STAR ROMANCE!!
Play (Stage Dive Series Book 2)
FAKE DATING THE ROCK STAR ROMANCE!! FAMOUS DRUMMER & THIS ONE WAS MY FAVORITE in the series!!
“Anne Rollins never thought she’d ever meet the rock god who plastered her teenage bedroom walls-especially not under these circumstances. Anne has money problems. Big ones. But being paid to play the pretend girlfriend to a wild life-of-the-party drummer couldn’t end well. No matter how hot he is. Or could it?”
P.S. Here’s my 5-STAR review
Nadia: Absolutely loved this book. I tried to read it slow to make it last but I couldn’t do it. Stayed up all night just to finish and it was so worth it. Love Mal ❤️❤️
Jody K: Loved it so much! I totally agree Nadia tried to stretch it out but couldn’t stop reading. Every time I hear the song Undressed it reminds me of Mal and how he would be with Pumpkin. 🙂
Maryse: Right to the very end, I loved it. Sometimes when I get to the last quarter, I find things a little over drawn out, and am anxious-ish to finish, but not with this one. I was hooked right to the very last word. 😀
