I would like some help in remembering this book.
All i remember is the hero is a long time family friend, the heroine’s sister got kidnapped before that is why heroine’s mom is very controlling towards the heroine, the hero tends to put down heroine’s life choices.
I am not sure of the nature of the job of the heroine but the hero is most likely on the paramedic/firefighter or uniformed person
Anyone have a guess?
