Links: Bridgerton, Clay Crafts, & More

Workspace with computer, journal, books, coffee, and glasses.Welcome back to Wednesday Links!

We are roasting here in New England! I’ve been going hard on lots of crisp, fresh salads.

My partner and I are in the midst of lots of planning – ring designing, elopement planning, house buying stuff. Wow, is it overwhelming and not super easy to find a central list of resources. However, we’ve started doing Planning Tuesdays, where we dedicate an hour or so on  Tuesday evenings to whittle away at all of these details.

How are all of your summers going? (or winters if you’re on the other side of the globe!)

On Monday, July 22nd, Sarah will be moderating a discussion with Rebecca Fraimow on her debut novel Lady Eve’s Last Con, which we’ve featured on the site! The event will be at People’s Book in Takoma Park, Maryland and kicks off at 6pm. Tickets are free, but please RSVP as there is a 50 person seated capacity before opening it up to standing room only.

In case you didn’t see in the comments last week, Denise posted about a flash fiction contest for Baltimore area writers. The contest goes through the end of July, so there’s still time!

If you’re looking for something new to watch, EC Spurlock put The Decameron on Netflix on our radar. Is anyone watching?

Spoilers for the latest season of Bridgerton!

Show Spoiler

CS sent us this link about the angry fans not too pleased with the little twist at the end of this season. Am I surprised about the response? Not in the slightest.

I am obsessed with this clay artist that creates little video game dioramas!

They also have a soothing YouTube channel with longer form videos.

Don’t forget to share what cool or interesting things you’ve seen, read, or listened to this week! And if you have anything you think we’d like to post on a future Wednesday Links, send it my way!
